Comfy and cute
4First off, I love the packaging. ABH is a classy brand and the packaging for the lip velvets are classy and the liquid lipstick clicks into place so it doesn't get messy in your purse. It's matte but comfy. I got the shade Parchment, which a deeper taupey brown. Suits my skin tone more than the shade Crush. It reminds me of the lipsticks the Kardashians usually wear, you know? The nude-y type with a slight hint of color. I usually don't really like matte lipstick formulas but this one is comfy, I usually still top it with clear gloss but it is nice and you get a lot of product. The applicator is nice and allows you to define your Cupid's bow.

Beautiful!
5I love the applicator on this product. It allows for a more precise application, making using it much easier. The formula is great and offers a smoothing effect that made my lips look flawless. The product dries well and yet somehow doesn't feel drying on the lips. The color was a great match with my skin tone, too. Overall, it's a great product.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Velvet offers a luxurious matte finish with a velvety texture. Its highly pigmented formula provides vibrant color payoff that lasts throughout the day. The application is smooth and precise, and the range of shades caters to various preferences. The velvety texture feels weightless on the lips during application, contributing to a comfortable wear experience. The matte finish delivers a sophisticated look, but it's advisable to exfoliate and moisturize lips beforehand to prevent any dryness. Overall, a solid choice for those who prioritize vibrant, long-lasting color with a matte finish. Perfection in a Nude Colored Lip!
5Anastasia Beverly Hills' new Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick is perfection in a matte, nude colored lip formula! Upon first opening this liquid lipstick, I wasn't sure about the shade itself. I was a little intimidated by the shade Parchment looking at it through the tube. Looks can be deceiving, because once I applied the peachy brown shade, I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was! With that being said, I was in awe over the formula itself! It's amazingly lightweight to the point of feeling like a feather brushing against the lips. Given that it's a matte formula, I was even more impressed by how buttery-smooth it applied & how creamy it was when rubbing my lips together to disperse evenly. I literally felt like I was applying a moisturizing treatment to my lips. That immediate satisfaction continued even after I had it on for a while. Matte lip formulas have come a long way. It's not as difficult to find a product in a matte finish that feels hydrating going on, but after some time has passed, I can usually still differentiate between a matte or, for example, a satin. With the new Lip Velvet Liquid Lipsticks, I can't tell that it's a matte formula unless I look in the mirror. This liquid lipstick continues to lend that creamy moisture to the lips while feeling light as a feather! The texture feels super luxurious while providing a beautiful matte finish to the lips that blurs my fine lines & other little imperfections. This particular formula not only enhances my lips, but it also gives a fuller appearance. The lasting power was impressive as well, to say the least. Obviously, most of us would expect a matte formula to withstand several hours, but not one that feels like a lightweight, whipped formula that still manages to also feel rich & velvety smooth! Clearly I can't stop raving over the new Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick in the shade Parchment thanks to its optimal quality and performance. This formula translates to...a matte, liquid lipstick at its best!

It's not a bad bang for the buck
4I received two tubes, one in the Parchment shade and one in the Crush shade. Being picked for this campaign did excite me, because I love prestige makeup and I use Anastasia products fairly often; I'm an especially loyal customer of their brow pomade line. I understood from the invitation the shades were going to be along a nude spectrum, but I was disappointed at how similar the Crush and Parchment shades proved to be upon application. It would have been great to have a wider shade variety to really compare the two, versus "Nude Brown Shade #1" and "Nude Brown Shade #2." As for the products themselves, I thought the shades were pleasant enough with just a hint of tint to them. These definitely aren't shades for a wild night out but really seem workable for professional photographs, or a low-key day at work. These shades are definitely more on the mature side, which is really complimented by the velvet aesthetic they're going for. I appreciate the versatility, especially after the last few years and the revival of the red lip. My only other point of constructive feedback is that the formula definitely seems to be on the clumpy side, so make sure to exfoliate your lips before applying the first coat and swab the inside of the neck to keep the application smooth. On the whole, I like the product. I think it goes on evenly, and lives up to the promise of being long-lasting lower with a velvet aesthetic. I didn't feel the need to apply my second coat until three hours later, and I appreciate that the formula effortlessly created a second coat rather than gumming up what I was already wearing.

Definitely getting the other shades!
5I am obsessed with these! The formula is seriously PERFECT, literally every person's dream lipstick formula! If you like the matte-like finish but don't like how matte lippies dry down.. GET THESE! They don't dry down, it's a lightweight mousse that's a matte finish. It's sooo good. ABH knocked this out the park for sure!

4The formula is truly an experience! It feels so soft and smooth. This might sound weird but it's like a really soft blanket being brushed over your lips lol! Now the colors I got were not good on me because of my skin tone. I do best with cool mauvey colors and these were definitely peachy orangey bases. But I definitely recommend for anyone that is complimented by those colors and has an affinity for the matte formula!

Incredible; the perfect lip product
5Okay, so I genuinely am in LOVE with this formula. It's airy, so lightweight, and feels almost powder like when it dries down. But in the BEST way. It's not drying at all (and every lipstick is drying on me) it's almost undetectable feeling. The color is also GORGEOUS and it lasts almost all day. I did have to reapply after eating some oilier foods but that's to be expected. I will definitely be purchasing the rest of these shades!

5The shades I received were absolutely gorgeous! They were like the perfect nudes! The the peachy brownish shade the most ! The lipstick texture was very lightweight & moussey feeling on the lips !
