5Rich pigment, long-lasting wear, and comfortable feel. It has a matte finish and vibrant shade. Not gonna lie the smell is also so good. It is not leaving my lips dry as desert so this is good. The color pretty. I also like the package. Application is really easy, not messy.

Velvety matte lipsticks
5I received this product as part of a sample program. I've tried other matte lipsticks and this one is the best one so far. It feels velvety on the lips and it doesn't dry out and get sticky. Long lasting!!!! I would definitely recommend this product.

Must have
5Not only does literally one swipe adds a lot of color but it's so smooth. Yes some comes off while drinking and eating but on your lips looks like no color came off. It's hydrating I love this go buy it don't hesitate.

Beautiful but not for me
4It was smoother than most matte lipsticks, the coverage was amazing. It did not get dry and cakey like other matte lipsticks.

Lives up to its velvety claims
3goes on like silk and feels like silk on all day. loved how long it lasted and how soft it felt. didn't dry out my lips and felt great all day. my only thing was wasn't loving the color. otherwise totally lived up to its claims, so soft and silky going on, felt that way on my lips and stayed that way all day. Color held all day as well all through coffee, water and lunch.

Love the smooth formula!
5I used the lip velvet in crush with a soft brown lip liner. I was gifted this from ABH. I like wearing it on its own. The formula is so smooth and doesn't feel drying on my lips. It also looks amazing paired with a gloss!

A must have in your make up bag
5This is easily one of my favorites in my make up bag, the texture is lovely, glides smoothly like butter, and the color compliments my skin tone. There's no scent which i love coz it usually bothers me if it's got a strong scent. Average longevity but it doesn't totally goes away but more like you need to retouch it. Still happy and highly recommend it!

Amazing lip color
5This is absolutely stunning!! I love how smooth and easy this is to apply. Before it settles and dries a little you will be thrown off by the color. It looks beautiful and last for awhile.

Good soft matte
5Wore for the entire day. Formula isn't drying, works well with lipliners from different brands, velvety & very comfortable to wear. A true cushion lipstick. The application is very easy to use and the color is very pigmented. I'd note that they don't layer well with each other but adding a bit of gloss did not alter the formula. I love the neutral colors and hope there will be a set of reds coming soon.

Super messy, was on more than my lips!
3First, I'd like to thank Buzz Agent and Anastasia for the opportunity to be among the first beauty enthusiasts to take Lip Velvet, their latest lipstick line, for a test drive via two free samples of the 6 available colors. In return, I'm sharing an absolutely honest review based solely on my personal opinion of this lipstick. I received Lip Velvet in Crush and Parchment. Both are dominantly neutral, however "Parchment" appears slightly orangish and is a tad darker while "Crush" is lighter and leans just a little towards pink. I'm describing the shades because I found the color represented on the package is different than the actual product, especially Parchment, which appears much darker and a different hue. The applicator wand is oval but flat with a slight angle, which makes it easy to apply both the top and bottom evenly. I also like the twist and lock design, you know the tube is locked up tight, so you won't find the lid rolling around in your bag. The texture is luxurious, it glides across your lips just like the name says…velvet. It feels soft and clean, not even in the realm of sticky. It's a semi gloss/semi matte finish, very contradictory but true. It does go on much lighter than color depicted on the box, more like a tint or stain. I spent a full day wearing each shade and surprisingly, there were a couple major differences. First, I used Crush and not what a mess! This lipstick was seriously everywhere! There were little "lumps" all around my lip line, these quickly spread to my hands, shirt, forehead and my lips looked like I smeared chocolate ice cream all over my mouth! I almost didn't want to try the other shade after the previous days experience, but I wasn't going anywhere so I gave it a go. This one didn't clump or smear at all, it looked quite nice and fit my lip shape and defined the cupids bow, but definitely not a good color match for my skin tone. Also, this is NOT a long wearing lip color. I had to reapply it 30 minutes after I put it on
